I became a photographer and a mother around the same time. When I was pregnant with my daughter, I was gifted my first DSLR camera, and at that moment, I found my passion. For me, motherhood and photography are ultimately intertwined. As I grew as a mother, my photography improved. I grew my creativity and found my unique style by taking photographs of my own children. While I originally began to provide them with captured memories, photography ended up becoming an artistic outlet for a creatively starved mother. I am so grateful to have found photography, and endlessly thankful for all the moments of my children’s lives I’ve captured through my camera lens.

I wanted to find a way to share this love and joy with all of you….the moms out there who want to take better photos of their kids or just want to find a place to spread your artistic wings! So I am thrilled to announce Crazy Bananas will be hosting our very first 30-day photo challenge this summer! The 30 Days of Summer Photo Challenge will take place June 1st through June 30th, 2016. Every day you will receive an email in your inbox with the photo theme for the day, along with photography tips, recipes, parenting hacks, ideas for activities to do with your kids this summer and much more! We will also take the fun to social media through the hashtag #30daysofsummerphotochallenge, where we will cultivate a community of supportive, like-minded creative mamas. Participants will also be eligible for fun giveaways and discount codes for local businesses! The incredible brand Artifact Uprising will also be gifting everyone who signs up for the challenge 25 of their gorgeous signature square prints! And best of all…this entire program is FREE!
