I am a lover of lipsticks, but have never found one that didn’t look ridiculous 30 minutes after applying. I am drinking buckets of water all day and all the no rub versions either rub right off or leave me with weirdly lined lips with no color in the middle circa 1998. And let me tell you, 1998 wasn’t exactly a good year for fashion (jean shorts, docs and brown lips…anyone?), so I’m trying not to recreate that time period.
This magical stuff not only seems to stay on my lips for hours, it is adorably pink and fresh. I was told more than once how awake and pretty I looked, which let’s just say, isn’t a regular occurance. I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve been told I look “awake” in the last year, and three of those were last week while wearing this lipstick.

Is anyone else obsessed with Instagram? I love it so much that even though I don’t have an iPhone (sacrilege, really) I have been randomly posting photos via our two iPods. This month I decided to participate in the Instagram Photo a Day Challenge (click here for details) and while it hasn’t always been pretty (the iPod has a MUCH lower resolution camera compared to my buddies with iPhones who I am not jealous of at all waaaaaahhhh!), it has been entertaining. Here are some of my favorites from this month so far!

He was thrilled…okay, so apparently he had a double ear infection on this particular day, but we didn’t know it at the time. Regardless, the combover is no more, and now my baby looks like the toddler that he is. I told him to stop growing or he’d be grounded, but he just screamed in my face and ran off. I think this means he totally agrees with me.
